Young learners discover what makes our country special — exploring US symbols, holidays, and the people and stories behind them through books, crafts, and hands-on activities.

In the Spring, the class shifts to Around the Community, where students explore the world right outside their door — learning about local jobs, community helpers, and what it means to be a good citizen, with special visits from community members like firefighters and law enforcement.

This class runs through Fall semester. In the Spring, the class shifts to Around the Community.
