A creative class where students explore a variety of materials and techniques through guided projects and open-ended making. Students work with paint, paper, drawing tools, mixed media, and more — building on basic art concepts like color, shape, texture, and design while developing their own creative voice. Projects encourage experimentation and personal expression, making this a great fit for students who love to create and discover new ways to bring ideas to life.

This class is part of our new Afternoon Explorers series — a flexible, project-based program that groups students by learning style and interests rather than strictly by age, with some lesson differentiation across the range. Other classes in the series include Animals & Zoology and Everyday Engineering (Tuesdays), Great Outdoors (Thursdays).

*Students in grades 6–8 are welcome to inquire about enrollment, space permitting.

This class is planned to continue through both semesters.
