Animals & Zoology
Tuesdays 1:00 - 1:55 pm / Ms. Aila & Ms. Victoria
(Grades 2-5*)
Students explore the animal kingdom through project-based learning, individual research, and collaborative group activities — investigating everything from animal behavior and adaptations to habitats and life cycles. With room for both independent deep-dives and group exploration, students engage with the material in a way that fits how they learn best.
This class is part of our new Afternoon Explorers series — a flexible, project-based program that groups students by learning style and interests rather than strictly by age, with some lesson differentiation across the range. Other classes in the series include Everyday Engineering (Tuesdays), Art Lab and The Great Outdoors (Thursdays).
*Students in grades 6–8 are welcome to inquire about enrollment, space permitting.
This class runs through Fall semester. In the Spring, the focus will switch to botany/plants & garden science.
