Home Cooking
Wednesdays 1:00 - 2:55 pm / Ms. Erynn
(Grades 5-8)
In this hands-on cooking class, students learn the kind of cooking that actually happens at home — from kitchen safety and basic techniques to reading recipes, measuring ingredients, and creating recipes they can replicate in their own kitchens. Taught by a home cook with a passion for practical, approachable meals, this class tackles family favorites like breakfast dishes, pasta, tacos, simple baked goods, and more — with an emphasis on slowing down and making real food from real ingredients.
This class runs through Fall semester. In the Spring, the class shifts to Sewing.
