Math in Real Life (Jr.)

Inspired by Montessori principles, this hands-on class brings math to life through storybooks, play, movement, and real-world discovery. Young learners are invited into each new concept through a carefully chosen story, game, or hands-on activity, then dive deeper through experiences that make math feel natural and fun. From number sense and counting to money and telling time, concepts are woven together through a market theme — culminating in the planning and setup of their very own mini market at the end of the semester.

This class is planned to continue through both semesters, with the theme changing for Spring.
